The Men's Intermediate Football Championship clash between Cork Boston and Christopher's Boston got underway, with Cork's Jack Lynch quickest to react to the throw-in. The play found its way to Eoghan McFarland, whose effort drifted just to the right and wide.
Following the restart, the ball found its way back to McFarland and this time he made no mistake, pointing over for Cork. Christopher's attacked next after a Cork shot dropped into the goalkeeper's hands. James Cronin aimed for the posts off his left foot, but his effort went to the right and wide.
Christopher's got their side of the scoreboard ticking with a point from Niall Kilroy. Kilroy added another shortly afterwards to put Christopher's ahead by one, 0-2 to 0-1 after four minutes.
Christopher's broke through the Cork defence and Chris Moynihan found the back of the net for his side, making it 1-2 to 0-1 after seven minutes.
Cork replied with a point from Jack Lynch off his left foot. Christopher's patiently worked their next attack and Adam Canavan pointed a 2-pointer to extend their lead, 1-4 to 0-2.
Cian Smith converted a free for Cork before Jack Lynch kicked a long ball into Smith, who made no mistake in finding the back of the net. Cork were back within one point at 1-4 to 1-3.
Christopher's responded immediately through a 2-pointer from Eoin DeBúrca to restore their advantage, 1-6 to 1-3.
Cork turned over a Christopher's attack and worked the ball forward. Emmet Smith delivered a long pass into Eoghan McFarland, who linked up with Cian Smith before Smith found the back of the net for Cork. The goal brought the sides level at 2-3 to 1-6 after 18 minutes.
Cork were awarded a free in their own back line and Ryan Gillespie quickly took the solo-and-go before linking up with Peter McGarry, who drove forward and pointed to put Cork ahead for the first time, 2-4 to 1-6.
Christopher's had a goal chance when Barra Ryan broke through, but Mike O'Reilly was on the line to deny the effort. Christopher's then levelled the game through a point from Ryan Martin, making it 2-4 to 1-7.
Cian Smith pointed another free for Cork to restore their lead.
Cork had another goal chance right before the break, but Teddy O'Driscoll's effort was blocked by Christopher's defender Conor Hanley.

Christopher's opened the second half with a point from James Cronin to level the game once again. Niall Kilroy added another point to put his side back in front, 1-9 to 2-5.
Cork responded immediately when Cian Smith kicked the ball into Peter McGarry, who rounded the goalkeeper and found the back of the net to put Cork ahead, 3-5 to 1-9.
Christopher's were awarded a free just inside the arc and Aaron Coogan's effort struck the post and came back into play. Cork attacked, but Christopher's turned over possession and worked the ball back up the field, where Chris Moynihan pointed to leave just one point between the sides at 3-5 to 1-10.
Feidhelm Joyce pointed next for Cork after linking up with Ryan Gillespie to make it 3-6 to 1-10.
Christopher's had another goal chance, but Niall Kilroy's effort was well saved by Cork goalkeeper Kieran McEnery.
Eoin DeBúrca pointed for Christopher's before Feidhelm Joyce converted a free for Cork, making it 3-7 to 1-11.
Cork had another goal chance, but the ball went out for a 45. Peter McGarry stepped up and made no mistake in converting it, extending Cork's lead to 3-8 to 1-11.
Niall Kilroy then broke through the Cork defence and linked up with substitute number 15, who buried the ball in the back of the net for Christopher's. The goal levelled the game at 3-8 to 2-11 with eight minutes of normal time remaining.
Kilroy then pointed a free to put Christopher's ahead by one. Cork had a goal chance through substitute number 17, but his effort was blocked down by the Christopher's goalkeeper.
Adam Canavan converted a free for Christopher's to put his side two points ahead with a minute of normal time remaining.
Cork worked one final attack in the dying moments and Peter McGarry stepped up to convert a 2-pointer, ensuring the sides shared the points just before the final whistle.
The referee blew the full-time whistle shortly afterwards.
