The senior football championship is getting hot and heavy now. Shannon Blues remain the only team undefeated, and with the top 6 making it to the playoffs Christopher's, Galway, McAnespies, and Cork are still in with a shout. Next week's fixtures include Galway v Donegal Saturday night, and on Sunday we have Mayo v Cork, Blues v Armagh-Notre Dame, and Christopher's v Aidan McAnespies to end the day. The last two weeks the 5:00 fixture has been lights out, and I'd imagine that this coming Sunday will be no different.
